Minecraft is basically sandbox and survival mixed up together depending on what gamemode you are playing on. Since Minecraft was released in 2011, although not realistic, (which everyone is glad its not) it managed to become the most solded game ever. When I was so interested in Minecraft, I wanted to play that game. I thought i couldn't get that game and decided to play minecraft on roblox. (idk why lol) that's when my dad asked me while playing:
"Could I get you Minecraft?"
and that's when I got minecraft— on bedrock.
yes, i get it. bedrock has a lot of issues. although it has cool features like placing blocks while walking without having to crouch walk while placing block, it has some cons that make this version of minecraft, unplayable. when you play minecraft in console, you have servers to play, but you can't add a server yourself. its sad because for some reason if your on pc or mobile that plays on bedrock, you have the option to play servers outside microsoft's suggested servers. oh well... at least theres a way around that with methods we use today
minecraft java is the original, best way to play minecraft. it runs on java, and its moddable. (even though we have obfuscation in mc, idk how modders managed to get minecraft moddable) today, i use java minecraft for mods, optimizations, and QoL stuff. My favorite server is Modern Beta. It's friendly, and i play *almost* everyday.
